Sayduck and Vitra at London Design Fair

What did I like most about the London 100% Design exhibition? No question about it: it’s got to be the Sayduck application that I discovered at the Vitra stand.

Let me tell you how it works: suppose you want to see how the Panton Chair would look in a particular setting. Just position the image you see in the picture (which you can just print off at home) in the desired point, and capture it with the special Sayduck app. Thanks to Augmented Reality you’ll immediately see the three-dimensional model of the Panton Chair in place!

La cosa che mi è piaciuta di più della fiera 100% Design di Londra? Senza dubbio l’applicazione Sayduck che ho scovato allo stand di Vitra.

Vi spiego come funziona: poniamo il caso che vogliate vedere come starebbe la Panton Chair in un determinato ambiente. Basterà che posizioniate l’immagine che vedete in foto (e che potete stamparvi a casa da soli) nel punto desiderato, e che la inquadriate con l’apposita app Sayduck: grazie alla realtà aumentata immediatamente vedrete comparire nell’inquadratura il modello tridimensionale della Panton Chair!

E se decidete che non vi piace, potrete sostituirla con un’altra sedia.
